Bristol is home to a burgeoning XC scene, and it's easy to see why. Whether you're after a zippy cruise around flowing singletrack or a thrill ride down the steeps, it's all just a quick ride across the river. Cross country rides begin and end at the Bristol side of Clifton Suspension Bridge, see map below.
Our local cross country rides visit the numerous woods and green-space across the Avon gorge. like Ashton Court, Leigh Woods, Fifty Acre Forest, and Failand Wood. Ashton court and Leigh Woods have recently been surfaced with weatherproof singletrack. Find out more about the exciting renovations here. We also organise several trips to the best trail centres in the UK every year, join the club to get in on the action!
XC rides are run alongside the road rides during the term time and are a great way to give knobbly tyres a try.
